X-Cart store owners can enable up-to-date shipment status reports with the FedEx Track shipping add-on. In order to track a package you have shipped via FedEx, the courier must scan the package before the package information has been entered into the FedEx database. If you have a package that has been scanned, it's possible to track that package by utilizing FedEx Direct API.
The end users perform tracking with a single click on the "Orders history" page. The FedEx Track add-on fetches all available information for tracking numbers and displays it to customers. The tracking information is updated each time the shipment is scanned in the FedEx system.
