FedEx Services Subscription module for X-Cart


2. Installation

Obtain an "FedEx Subscription" module distribution package by downloading it from our site.

You should unpack "FedEx Ship" module package and upload it to the X-Cart directory on your server. Upon upload make sure the following files have writable permissions:

  • skin1/admin/menu.tpl
  • skin1/common_templates.tpl

After that you should run the installation wizard with your browser at:

http://yourdomain/xcart-dir/install-fdx-subscr.php

Where replace "yourdomain" and "xcart-dir" with actual values.

Please read the agreement carefully and then click the "Agree" button if you agree with our agreement, otherwise click the "Decline" button.

On the second step the installer checks dependencies and writable permissions. if there are any issues, it reports them to you and you have to fix them. If no issues, just click the "Proceed" button here.

That's it! The installation completed and you can proceed with the FedEx Subscription configuration but don't forget to unset writable permissions to the files you changed recently:

  • skin1/admin/menu.tpl
  • skin1/common_templates.tpl
