Installation

You should unpack software packages and upload it to the X-Cart directory on your server. Upon upload make sure the following files have writable permissions:

• admin/order.php
• include/process_order.php
• include/orders.php
• skin1/admin/menu.tpl
• skin1/common_templates.tpl
• skin1/main/orders.tpl
• skin1/main/orders_list.tpl
• skin1/main/history_order.tpl

After that you should run the installation wizard with your browser at:

http://yourdomain/xcart-dir/install-fdx-subscr.php

http://yourdomain/xcart-dir/install-fdx-ship.php

http://yourdomain/xcart-dir/install-fdx-track.php

Where replace "yourdomain" and "xcart-dir" with actual values.

Please read the agreement carefully and then click the "Agree" button if you agree with our agreement, otherwise click the "Decline" button.

On the second step the installer checks dependencies and writable permissions. if there are any issues, it reports them to you and you have to fix them. If no issues, just click the "Proceed" button here.

On the third step the wizard patches files and makes all necessary changes to the store database and language variables. When it's done you should click the "Complete" button to perform the last installation step to add the module record to the modules list.

That's it! The installation completed! Don't forget to unset writable permissions to the files you changed recently:

• admin/order.php
• include/process_order.php
• include/orders.php
• skin1/admin/menu.tpl
• skin1/common_templates.tpl
• skin1/main/orders.tpl
• skin1/main/orders_list.tpl
• skin1/main/history_order.tpl
