You will find SmartShip helpful if most of the orders made in your store can't be shipped in a single parcel because of shippers' weight and size limitations. Now you can define a set of rules to split orders into packages automatically when a customer adds products to cart. Namely SmartShip supports "one product - one parcel" parcels. More complex rules are supported as well. E.g. you can define product classes and assign preferable packaging type for each product class. Or you can define sets of products which can be shipped in single parcel.
