Basically the Quick Rates module for X-Cart enables shipping cost estimation prior to adding products to the shopping basket. Customers can fill in a zipcode to get shipping quotes for a product in Estimation popup.

Features:
- Customers can estimate shipping cost for different zip codes. If a customer is logged in the default zip for the first estimate is got from the profile. The module saves customers' input and uses it as defaults in further estimates.
- The shipping cost estimate feature can be enabled on the product listing, product details or both pages.
- Admin can define whether to display the "Quantity" input box in the popup or not.
- "No available shipping rates" message editable in the administrator back-end
- "Business/Residental address" switch (FedEx Shipping Rates module required)
