ShippingKit Labels integrating FedEx Services for CS-Cart

Configuration

ShippingKit Labels settings are available by clicking the "FedEx Ship" link in the "Shipping/taxes" menu of the administrator back-end.

First of all, you should populate FedEx Account number and Meter number provided by FedEx on the FedEx Shipping settings management page (click 'To configure FedEx account page click here' to open the page). Please refer to CS-Cart user manual for more details about FedEx account configuration.

Once the FedEx account settings are configured, you can proced to configuation of FedEx Shipping Labels setting. Various settings allow to manage FedEx labels options such as "ship date", signature options, label type, etc.

1. "Default ship date shift (days)" field allows to set a date when packages would be ready for shipment.
2. "Default ship time" field allows to set a time in the military format when packages are ready to ship.
3. "Label image type" fields allow to choose one of the following label formats:
   • "PNG(plain)" - a PNG picture
   • "PNG4X6" - a PNG picture, 4"x6" size (available only for domestic shipments)
   • "Eltron(thermal)" - Eltron printer format
   • "Zebra(thermal)" - Zebra printer format
   • "UniMark(thermal)" - UniMark printer format
4. Ship from address field allows to choose an address the packages would be sent from:
   • "Company`s default address" - your company address
   * At the moment only this option is supported.
5. "Put the products information into the customer reference field" checkbox places the products information to the customer reference field of the label.
6. Ship to Residence allows to choose logic to determine the "Business/Residence" address flag.
   • "Always NO" - All adresses are treated as "Business"
   • "Always YES" - All adresses are treated as "Residence"
   • * Extra field
   * You can define an additional user profile field on the "User Profiles options" page, and select it as the "Ship to residence" option here. We recommend setup the "checkbox" or "select box" type for the extra field associated with the "Ship to residence" field. If it's a select box, it should just contain "Yes" and "No" options.
7. "Signature option" field allows to choose the package delivery options:
   • "None" - the signature option is disabled
   • "Deliver without signature" - no signature required on delivery
   • "Indirect" - a signature required on delivery
   • "Direct" - a direct customer signature required on delivery
   • "Adult" - a signature of any adult required on delivery
8. "Mark the order as 'Completed' after getting the label" checkbox sets the "Completed" status to the order as soon as a shipping label successfully generated. * When order status is set to 'Completed' the store sends email notifications to customers.
9. Log FedEx transactions saves all transactions requests and response from FedEx server (to generate, void shipping labels, tracking information requests) in the log file located in the Logs directory of your store.

FedEx Close

You are able to close all FedEx Ground shipments for the day by clicking "Close Shipments" button. It's optinal since FedEx closes shipments itsself automatically.

Delete Shipping Labels

Also administrator is able to delete shipping label images using "Delete Shipping Labels" section to reduce the database size.

Shipping Packages Management

You are able to define packages for a quick package selection during shipping label generation using Shipping Packages Management section. These packages will be classified as "Package" package type during UPS label generation.
