ShippingKit Labels integrating Endicia Label Server for CS-Cart

Configuration

ShippingKit Labels settings are available by clicking the "Endicia Ship" link in the "Shipping/taxes" menu of the administrator back-end.

First of all, you should populate Endicia Account ID and Endicia Passphrase provided by Endicia, Shipper's attention name (a shipper's contact name), Test mode (if you'd like to use the module in the test mode without real operations), Debug mode (if you face any difficulties with the software it would allow to check requests sent to and response received from Endicia Label Server in a log file located in the "cs-cart_dir/shippingkit/logs" directory).

Once the Endicia account settings are configured, you can proced to configuation of Endicia Shipping Labels setting. Various settings allow to manage Endicia labels options such as label format, default package type, etc.

1. "Default ship date shift (days)" field allows to set a date when packages would be ready for shipment.
2. "Image format" fields allow to choose one of the following label formats:
   • GIF - a GIF picture
   • JPEG - a JPEG picture
   • PDF - a PDF document
   • PNG - a PNG picture
   • EPL2 - thermal printer label
   • ZPLII - thermal printer label
3. Ship from address field allows to choose an address the packages would be sent from:
   • "Company`s default address" - your company address
   * At the moment only this option is supported.
4. Endicia Services Bookmarks allows to choose Endicia shipping methods for a quick delivery service selection during shipping label generation on the order details page
5. Package type allows to choose a package type used by the store by default. If you choose "Package" as the package type, you should define package sizes below.
6. Package sizes (Package length, Package width, Package height) should be defined if "Package" is selected as the package type
7. "Mark the order as 'Completed' after getting the label" checkbox sets the "Completed" status to the order as soon as a shipping label successfully generated. * When order status is set to 'Completed' the store sends email notifications to customers.

Buying postage / Endicia Account status checking

Once you configure Endicia account you will be able to check its state using "Account status" section on the Endicia settings page. To retrive the account status from Endicia Label Server you should click "Check Account Status" button.

Also you will be able to add a postage to your account using "Buy postage" section by entering the desired amount and clicking "Buy Postage" button.

Shipping Packages Management

You are able to define packages for a quick package selection during shipping label generation using Shipping Packages Management section. These packages will be classified as "Package" package type during USPS label generation.

Delete Shipping Labels

Also administrator is able to delete shipping label images using "Delete Shipping Labels" section to reduce the database size.
